چکیده

Prvok is the first 3D printed concrete floating house in Czech republic. Additive manufacturing - printing became a synonym of sustainable building 21st century. Its experimental manner and lack world's standardisation ISO approvals hold method on edge usability applicability stop broader spread application practice. Furthermore, used material was newly developed cement composite prefabricated mixture mady by Master Builder Solutions with polypropylene plastic micro-fibres, which not previously tested large structures. What we achieved, practical realisation fully equipped functioning as habitable statue for public event. In order to fulfil request insulation avoiding heat bridges together investing least possible, parametrically designed implemented wall system construction. be able open structure public, it universal loading machines at Faculty civil engineering CTU Prague scale 1:1. Testing fragments walls were also part research goals, led us final design. this paper, present results experiment experimentally obtained data.

3D Printing of Organs-On-Chips

Organ-on-a-chip engineering aims to create artificial living organs that mimic the complex and physiological responses of real organs, in order to test drugs by precisely manipulating the cells and their microenvironments. To achieve this, the artificial organs should to be microfabricated with an extracellular matrix (ECM) and various types of cells, and should recapitulate morphogenesis, cell...

On the intrinsic sterility of 3D printing

3D printers that build objects using extruded thermoplastic are quickly becoming commonplace tools in laboratories. We demonstrate that with appropriate handling, these devices are capable of producing sterile components from a non-sterile feedstock of thermoplastic without any treatment after fabrication. The fabrication process itself results in sterilization of the material. The resulting 3D...

3D Printing Process Pipeline on the Internet

We develop a small and lightweight cloud based service for the utilization of 3D printer resources within an academic context. This service consists of user, artefact and printer management and utilizes existing business process management systems (BPMS) where possible and extends their functionality. It enables scheduling of printing jobs for artefacts and high utilization of 3D printer resour...

Development of a Viable Concrete Printing Process

A novel Concrete Printing process has been developed, inspired and informed by advances in 3D printing, which has the potential to produce highly customised building components. Whilst still in their infancy, these technologies could create a new era of architecture that is better adapted to the environment and integrated with engineering function. This paper describes the development of a viab...
